If you ever find yourself in the Kusatsu Onsen area, this place is an absolute must-visit. It’s a small roadside spot that always has a long queue — and for good reason. The meat is grilled fresh right in front of you, with options like chicken hearts, gizzards, and more, each cooked to perfection. The place truly deserves all the love it gets. While you wait in line, grab an ice cream from the nearby shop — it’s incredibly smooth and tastes as pure as mountain air. An amazing experience, through and through.

It’s normal to wait in a queue here. Reasonable prices and good taste. The only pity thing is I do not see spicy powder available here.

The queues are real. We took a food bath watching it open and rushed over when nobody was there. The gyuhatsu was definitely worth stopping by. It was ¥350 per stick but so soft and juicy! We had to wait about 10min, though, for it to be ready.
